On Friday evening I spoke at a business meeting and Christmas party in historic downtown Greensboro at Japonica Path. Japonica is Latin for “of Japan,” and Alabama’s state flower is Camellia japonica. Local homeowners have multiple varieties of Camellias that bloom on-site.
