Today Governor Kay Ivey and ADECA Director Kenneth Boswell announced that the State of Alabama awarded $2,780,632.80 to Tombigbee Electric Cooperative for 155 route miles of fiber construction, which will provide high-speed internet accessibility to 1,584 previously unserved households, businesses, and community institutions in Winston County. In 2017, we started conversations to bring broadband access throughout our state. Forty-eight (48) of 67 counties received $150 million in assistance today. Look at how far we have come! #Our67
