This facility was instrumental in developing the Saturn V rocket, which powered the Apollo missions to the moon, marking a significant chapter in human history.
Today, Alabama's contribution to aerospace extends far beyond space exploration. Our state is a hub for aerospace manufacturing and engineering, hosting a plethora of companies that specialize in everything from the production of large aircraft components to cutting-edge research and development in missile defense and unmanned aerial systems.
